This week I learned in English class that in the Ancient Greece era, hospitality was one of the most important things the people honored in that era. It was what the people held up the most because the people believed that a god may descend to earth and visit their home and if they gave the god hospitality, he would reward them in return with great gifts according to Greek mythology. No matter who it is; stranger or friend, we should give hospitality to them and we should not be looking out for our own benefits. We should take a page out of their book and give hospitality to those would need it. We could do this by giving the homeless a home to stay in or even taking them into our own homes. The society has turned for the most part from hospitality and being courteous to one another.
